On June 25, 2021, Baosteel Central Research Institute-Shunli Joint Studio of China Baowu Group was grandly unveiled in Nanjing Binjiang Development Zone. As a world-renowned manufacturer of marine engineering materials, Shunli Steel Group and Baowu Group, the world's largest steel company, have innovated cooperation methods this time and jointly established a studio to promote significant scientific and technological public relations. The studio project is implemented as a research group. In the future, it will increase research efforts in the areas of seawater corrosion resistance and atmospheric corrosion resistance new steel. It is estimated that ten new steel grades will be developed within three years, and the sales revenue will be 12 billion yuan.
